Spicy & Tangy Hummus

INGREDIENTS

Chick Peas

Lemon

Tahini

Harisa

Salt & Pepper

Olive Oil

First empty a can or jar of chickpeas into a bowl and rinse them through. Put a handful aside for later decoration.

Then mix the chick peas with a 1/3 cup of tahini and a squeeze of lemon to taste – usually around 3 tbspoons for those of you who like measuring out your components.

Mix that all together and then add 2 tbspoons of harisa paste – this can be quite spicy, so if you’re not into spice, measure according to your tastes!

To fonish it all off, add salt, pepper and a dash of olive oil and blend it through until it becomes a thick paste.

Serve in a bowl, drizzle some olive oil on top, sprinkle the chick peas which we put aside earlier over the top and voila – Bob’s your uncle!
