For the Summer season I’m always looking for light, easy to prepare food and this recipe is one of my favourites! If you’re a fan of a bit of spice, this is a recipe for you…
Salt & Pepper
First empty a can or jar of chickpeas into a bowl and rinse them through. Put a handful aside for later decoration.
Then mix the chick peas with a 1/3 cup of tahini and a squeeze of lemon to taste – usually around 3 tbspoons for those of you who like measuring out your components.
Mix that all together and then add 2 tbspoons of harisa paste – this can be quite spicy, so if you’re not into spice, measure according to your tastes!
To fonish it all off, add salt, pepper and a dash of olive oil and blend it through until it becomes a thick paste.
